This book is dedicated to the men of the 143rd AAA gun Battalion, who left their wives, their sweethearts and their families to fight a war. May this become an andiron to keep the ashes of poignant memory, some pleasant, some not so pleasant, so that these men and all men will strive constantly toward an everlasting peace.
